“We remember well the exemplary after care Ben provided to the surviving twin from a C section on a ewe. As we probably informed you it was subsequently sold after a lot of TLC as a stud ram.” – Malcolm
PG Farm Vets was established by Ben Pullen and Lissie Gercke to provide dedicated 24/7 emergency & routine vet care for all livestock. We are both experienced vets who care about you and your animals. We aim to provide an independent and local alternative to corporate farm practice, one that provides a competitive and progressive veterinary service while maintaining the traditional values of farm practice.
Continuity of care is very important to us and we aim to deliver a service where you get to know your vet and they understand the specific needs of your holding. Throughout every visit we endeavour to work together with our clients to have a positive impact on the productivity and efficiency of the farm and the health and welfare of the animals.
We believe that education is crucial to progressive farming and encourage and support our vets in their further education and provide regular training events for our clients. We also try to provide placements for vet students, whenever possible, to enable the next generation of farm vets to gain experience and start to develop their interests and skills.
We are really passionate about flock and herd health and because of this we have developed various contract packages to give our clients the best deals on preventative health care and planning. Please check out fitterflocks and heartierherds to find out more.
